Berkeley Heights, NJ -- Summit Medical Group is pleased to be listed among NJBIZ's New Jersey's Fifty Fastest Growing Companies. NJBIZ is New Jersey’s leading statewide business newspaper. The paper announced and honored the top fifty businesses that have made significant contributions to the growth, strength, and success of New Jersey during the New Jersey’s Fifty Fastest Growing Companies award ceremony held at The Palace in Somerset Park on Monday, November 16, 2009. This is the second year that Summit Medical Group has been named to the list of honorees.
To be nominated, companies needed to show revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the fiscal years ending 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008, as well as showing revenue growth in 2008, compared with 2005 (a four year period). Eligible companies were for-profit entities headquartered in New Jersey.
Presenting sponsor Rothstein Kass calculated the nominations and ranked the companies according to revenue growth over the 4-year period between 2005 and 2008. Both dollar and percentage increases were considered. This formula led to recognition of the 2009 New Jersey’s Fifty Fastest Growing Companies, which is comprised of both large and small companies.
