Berkeley Heights, NJ -- Renée Schreiber Chervenak, MD, recently joined Summit Medical Group Internal Medicine and Occupational Health.
Dr. Chervenak earned her BA summa cum laude at Boston University College of Engineering and she earned her MD at Boston University School of Medicine, both in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Preventive Medicine, with a specialty in Occupational Medicine. She is a former diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Chervenak was Regional Medical Director for Alcatel-Lucent USA in Murray Hill, New Jersey. She was previously Regional Medical Director for Lucent Technologies, Inc, of North America, and Location Medical Director for AT&T Bell Laboratories, also in Murray Hill.
Dr. Chervenak has extensive experience leading corporate health care systems in comprehensive medical services such as wellness, urgent care, primary care, occupational health, and health and safety programs. She has special interests in preventive care and developing physician-patient partnerships.
