Dr. Kim earned his BA in political science magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his MD at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he was a 21st Century Endowed Scholar. Dr. Kim completed his internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. He completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Kim has coauthored articles that are published in Archives of Dermatology and Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also has written book chapters on topics in dermatology.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Kim practiced dermatology in Manhattan and Pennsylvania. His special interests include acne and skin cancer.
Dr. Kim joins his colleagues in dermatology, Naheed Abbasi, MD, MPH, FAAD, Gabriel Gruber, MD, and Monib Zirvi, MD, PhD.
