On November 17, 2012,
the American Cancer Society honored
members of the outstanding
Summit Medical Group Breast Care Center team,
including Medical Director John D. Cunningham, MD,
Jerrold S. Lozner, MD, Winnie M. Polen, DO, Diana M. Addis, MD,
and Carol Boyer, APN-C, CBPN-IC, AOCNS,
at its 33rd Annual Diamond Ball!
The Summit Medical Group Breast Care Center offers comprehensive, seamless support and care of benign breast conditions and all stages of breast cancer. It provides expert breast exams, diagnosis, and treatment as well as education to help empower patients to partner with their physicians in decisions about treatment. The Center's personalized treatment plans and award-winning, certified nurse navigation team help ensure the best possible outcomes while assisting patients in adjusting to, coping with, and managing their disease. The Breast Care Center staff work closely with the Summit Medical Group onsite, state-of-the-art Imaging Center, plastic surgeons, medical oncologists, and Infusion Center.

The Summit Medical Group Breast Care Center welcomes newly diagnosed patients as well as those with recurrent disease from its own and other practices throughout the New Jersey / New York metropolitan area. The majority of its services are located under one roof.
The skilled, board-certified Breast Care Center team, including honorees John D. Cunningham, MD, Jerrold S. Lozner, MD, Diana M. Addis, MD, Winnie M. Polen, DO, and Carol Boyer, APN-C, CBPN-IC, AOCNS, is supported by the largest physician-owned practice in New Jersey. In addition to its 250,000-square-foot campus, Summit Medical Group has satellite offices in 4 counties. Offering care from more than 300 practitioners in 70 medical specialties, Summit Medical Group is well positioned to provide its breast cancer patients with state-of-the-art diagnostics, technologies, and leading-edge treatments. It also offers minimally invasive breast biopsies for diagnosing most cancers. Many surgeries are performed in the Summit Medical Group Ambulatory Surgery Center.
