If you've ever tried to stop smoking, you know it can be difficult and even seem impossible. The cravings, irritability, and other unpleasant symptoms associated with quitting are bad enough, but finding yourself with another cigarrette in your mouth after swearing them off again and again can leave you feeling defeated.
Although some people can stop smoking on their own, most people need help to achieve their goal. For the best chance of quitting smoking and maintaining a smoke-free lifestyle, you need multiple tools, including counseling, self-help techniques, inspirational information, and medicine or a combination of medicines.

Summit Medical Group is offering
an American Lung Association-guided
7-week smoking cessation program that includes 8 sessions.
Affordable and effective,
our program offers strategies that can help you manage and overcome
the physiological, psychological, and behavioral aspects
of smoking cessation.
Meetings are 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM
at the Summit Medical Group Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy Center
654 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.
Cost of the program is$15 per session.
There also is a $25 workbook, which you will keep.
You will be required to pay for the workbook and first session (a $45 total)
at the first session.
