Michael Shindle, MD, is USA Mens Hockey Head Physician

Summit Medical Group is pleased to announce
that sports medicine specialist Michael Shindle, MD,
has been designated Head Team Physician for the USA Hockey Mens National Team
at the 2013 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge
December 29, 2012 through January 4, 2013
in Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada.
To his credit, Dr. Shindle covered the 2012 Deutschland Cup, a prestigious professional hockey tournament, in Germany. A USA Hockey certified coach, he recently completed the highest level of training at the USA Hockey Continuing Education Program in Washington DC. Although there are approximately 60,000 USA hockey-certified coaches, only 3% of them have obtained the Level-5 recognition Dr. Shindle earned in Washington, DC.
Dr. Shindle is an assistant coach with the New Jersey Colonials and Madison-Harding Mite programs, a consultant with the New York Football Giants, an assistant team physician for the Major League Soccer New York Red Bulls, and a team physician for Fairleigh Dickenson University. He is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Shindle looks forward to continuing his involvement and growth with USA Hockey.
