Summit Medical Group has recently received a New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Customized Training Grant to educate its staff about the many important aspects of customer service. Part of the “I AM SMG” customer service initiative, training will focus on staff image, accountability, communication, service, and hospitality. The sessions are designed to enhance professionalism and ensure that each member of the Summit Medical Group staff has the education and support needed to deliver superior service to patients and their families.
Donna Stoveken, Manager of the Summit Medical Group Training and Education Department notes, “Summit Medical Group's focus is always our patients. The Customized Training Grant allows our staff to receive a full range of valuable training, so they may continue to provide the exceptional patient care that has been our hallmark since 1929.”
Developed in 1922 to create and retain high-skill, high-wage private sector jobs in the state, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Customized Training Grant program helps ensure that New Jersey workers are productive and globally competitive.
