Andrea Biermann, PA-C, joins Summit Medical Group with more than 6 years’ experience in treating cardiac patients. She is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants certifies her and she holds licenses with the Drug Enforcement Administration and State of New Jersey Physician Assistants organization. Ms. Biermann’s professional experience includes positions with Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates in Flemington and the University Cardiology Foundation in Providence, Rhode Island.

A skilled, motivated, and caring practitioner, Ms. Biermann believes that educating patients and their families about all aspects of heart health is key to the success of treatment. Working closely with cardiologists to deliver the highest standard of care, she has expertise in treating hospitalized and ambulatory care patients. Ms. Biermann notes, “Helping people benefit from new scientific discoveries and wisdoms of medical practice is a privilege for me.”

Ms. Biermann is not working with her patients, she enjoys traveling, food and wine, and cooking. She is an avid reader and a member of Toastmasters, a club that focuses on improving speaking skills.
