Personal Notes

About me:

I'm bilingual--English/Spanish. I'm as local as they come. Born and bred in Chatham, I've been coming to the Summit Medical Group for as long as I can remember. My children are now the fourth generation of my family to call Summit Medical Group their "home." It is an honor and a pleasure to serve the community in which I was raised.

Why I became a doctor:

My first aid training as a Boy Scout got me hooked on Medicine. Years of community service projects through the Chatham United Methodist Youth Fellowship during high school and afterwards strengthened my resolve. Working at Morristown Memorial Hospital's Recovery Room and as an EMT on the Chatham Emergency Squad "sealed the deal."

My philosophy of care:

Listen to the parents and the patients...they'll tell you what's wrong. Parental intuition saves lots of lives. I'm conservative. I'll never give a medicine, a vaccine, or any advice to my patients that I wouldn't give to my own children first. Safety first and last. There are 50 ways to do everything as a parent, and 49 of them are OK. I'll guide you away from the 1 out of 50 that's dangerous.
