Before joining Summit Medical Group, Bogdan M. Langner, PA-C, MPAS, was the hospital orthopedic surgical PA at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey. Mr. Langner also taught students in the Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education Physician Assistant Program. He has been a PA for Robinson Health Clinic in Fort Bragg, Good Hope Urgent Care in Lillington, and Northside Urgent Care Clinic in Fayetteville, all located in North Carolina. He also was a PA for the Camp Casey Military Unit in South Korea, where he provided care or more than 800 soldiers.
Mr. Langner served in the United States Army for more than 20 years, for 5 of which he was an officer. Mr. Langner is a recipient of the Army Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medical, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army South West Service Medal, National Defense Medal, Army Expeditionary Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Ribbon, Combat Medical Badge, Expert Field Medical Badge, and Master Parachustist Badge With Combat Jump Star.
"I became a practitioner after seeing other PAs help their patients get well. At their encouragement, I entered the military PA program at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas." Mr. Langner adds, "I believe in treating each patient like I would treat a member of my family."
Mr. Langner is a member of the Society of Army Physician Assistants, New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
When he is not working with his patients, Mr. Langner enjoys golfing, watching football, making furniture, working on construction projects, working out, and visiting flea markets.
