Carol G Boyer, RN, MSN, APN-C, is a Master’s prepared Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist and ANCC Board Certified Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has over 25 years nursing experience in clinical practice, specializing in home care, hospice, oncology, and geriatrics. Her clinical work in Oncology was at major teaching institutions including Georgetown University Hospital, George Washington University Hospital, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Overlook Hospital. She has served as a nursing instructor at Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing, and George Mason University School of Nursing, in addition to adjunct faculty at George Washington University. She has published numerous articles in a variety of nursing and other health care publications. Most recently, Ms. Boyer worked in brain tumor vaccine research, and in the chemotherapy administration area of Overlook Hospital. She also serves as Vice-President of the Township of Berkeley Heights Board of Health.
