Erica McCarty’s professional expertise includes deep tissue massage, sports massage, Swedish relaxation massage, pre- and postnatal massage, and corporate seated massage. She has worked on a wide range of patients, including business professionals, athletes, and weekend warriors. Ms. McCarty used her massage therapy skills to help her infant son overcome developmental issues associated with prolonged sedation for severe meconium aspiration syndrome—an experience that sparked her interest in becoming a professional massage therapist.

A professional who has a personal understanding of the extent with which stress can affect quality of life, Ms. McCarty “…believes it is especially important for clinicians to approach their patients with a personal, positive attitude.” She notes, “As a clinical massage therapist, I apply this philosophy to help relax my patients' minds and bodies and improve their circulation, respiration, and digestion as well as lessen the pain of short- and long-term muscle aches and injuries.”

When she is not working with her patients, Ms. McCarty enjoys her friends, skiing, walking, meditating, and music.
