During his fellowship training, Dr. Mirsky worked under the guidance of Dr. John Insall, renowned knee replacement specialist and Dr. Norman Scott, sports medicine specialist and team physician for the New York Knicks. Dr. Mirsky served as assistant team physician for the NBA's New York Knicks and the WNBA's New York Liberty.  He has also provided on-field orthopedic care for the Professional Arena Football League, the PGA Championship, and local high school football teams.

Dr. Mirsky was a college tennis player at Princeton University. He lives locally with his wife and two children and is a life-long Giants fan.
