Hari Nadiminti, MD, is a Mohs micrographic surgeon with expertise in diagnosing and treating skin cancer and benign growths. His expertise includes scar revision.
Dr. Nadiminti's Mohs micrographic surgical training distinguishes him in his field. A new standard in skin cancer treatment, Mohs surgery is widely accepted as the most effective treatment for most types of skin cancer. Not all dermatologic surgeons, however, achieve American College of Mohs Surgery fellowship training — the highest degree of Mohs surgery qualification. Dr. Nadiminti was selected for the American College of Mohs Surgery 1-year fellowship after an extensive application and interview process designed to identify only the most skilled and gifted Mohs surgeons. He then studied and trained under the guidance of veteran Mohs College surgeons who have demonstrated expertise in Mohs surgery. In completing his American College of Mohs Surgery fellowship, Dr. Nadiminti:
- Participated in thousands of Mohs surgery cases
- Gained expertise in identifying challenging tumor locations
- Learned to accurately interpret tissue samples, include rare tumors, removed during Mohs surgery
- Performed simple as well as the most complex, multistep wound reconstructions
As an American College of Mohs Surgery graduate, Dr. Nadiminti has extensive experience and skills that enable him to achieve the best outcomes in skin cancer treatment.
Dr. Nadiminti is the author or coauthor of articles and abstracts, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals such as Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery. He recently coauthored the skin cancer chapter for Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine. Dr. Nadiminti has delivered local, regional, and national invited presentations primarily devoted to skin cancer and skin cancer removal.
During his Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship, Dr. Nadiminti volunteered with the Veteran’s Administration Atlanta Medical Center, where he treated hundreds of patients with skin cancer. During that time, he was a member of the American Cancer Society Speakers' Bureau in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Nadiminti is the recipient of the MDx Medical, Inc. Patients’ Choice Award and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Young Investigators Writing Award. He is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and American Medical Association.
Dr. Nadiminti lives in New York City with his wife and son.
