Jean Hurst is a full-time neurodiagnostic technician who is solely dedicated to EEG testing. Ms. Hurst has more than 13 years’ experience in office, laboratory, and hospital neurodiagnostics. Her expertise includes routine and sleep-deprived EEG, electrocerebral silence, somatosensory evoked-potential studies, and nerve conduction velocity studies.

Before joining Summit Medical Group Neurology, Ms. Hurst was Chief Neurodiagnostic Technician for University Neuroscience Group in Staten Island, New York, and she was a neurodiagnostic technician for the Intraoperative Monitoring Departments at Staten Island Medical Center, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, and Bayonne Medical Center. She is a certified EEG technician, intraoperative monitoring technician, pharmacy technician, and medical assistant. She is a member of the Metropolitan Neurodiagnostic Society and American Society of Electrodiagnostic Technicians.
