Personal Notes

My philosophy of care:

One of my mentors, Dr. William House, always reminded me to "first listen, and then you will hear." And he was so right, whether it be with family, colleagues or patients. Just listening carefully invariably leads to a deeper understanding of both the apparent and deeper concerns a patient has and helps me to be a better doctor for that person. That's how I would like to be treated and that's how I try and treat all my patients.
