Kennedy O. Gabre, MD, FACS, has expertise in a wide range of general and minimally invasive surgical procedures, including those involving hernias as well as benign and maglinant diseases of the appendix, spleen, gallbladder, esophagus (including treatment for reflux disease), stomach, pancreas, colon, and rectum. Dr. Gabre is board certified in general surgery.

Before joining Allied Surgical at Summit Medical Group, Dr. Gabre was Attending Surgeon for Northwest Hospital / Sinai Hospital in Owings, Maryland. He was previously Attending Surgeon for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.

Dr. Gabre earned his MD at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Morristown Medical Center and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School. During residency, Dr. Gabre was designated Chief Resident. He completed his fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery at Sinai Hospital and Northwest Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Gabre is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
