Personal Notes

About me:

I am a Clinical Specialist in Hypertension, certified by the American Society of Hypertension (ASH). In addition to my lifetime commitment to medicine, I have an abiding love of classical music, and I have played the piano since childhood. I also enjoy duplicate bridge, and am an amateur numismatist.

Why I became a doctor:

My father succumbed to kidney failure in the prime of life, before any of the advances that are just about taken for granted today were developed. This, together with my interest in both science and the humanities, made a career in Internal Medicine and Nephrology(kidney disease) a "natural" for me.
