Before joining Summit Medical Group in 2008, Michael J. Blecker, MD, FACP, was Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital, Attending Physician for St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center, and a physician in private practice in New York City. He also was Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at New York Medical College in Valhalla. Dr. Blecker is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

A former Major in the United States Army Medical Corps, Dr. Blecker is a recipient of the Army Commendation Medal.
