Before joining Summit Medical Group, Maurice A. Ferrante, MD, practiced with Paramount Medical Group in Warren, New Jersey for 10 years. Before his position with Paramount, Dr. Ferrante maintained a solo practice in Tampa, Florida, where he also was Medical Director for the Palma Ceia Medical Clinic of South Tampa.

Dr. Ferrante is a member of the American College of Physicians. He has been Chairman and a member of the Tampa Bay Provider Group Board of Directors and Physician Hospital Organization Board of Directors.

He and his wife are the proud parents of twin daughters they adopted from China.
