About me:

I am the youngest of four adopted children with wonderful parents. I met my wife as a first year medical student when she was in law school.

Why I became a doctor:

I enjoy the opportunity to work in a field where there are often tangible achievements, such as improving patients' health and comfort. I wanted the opportunity to work with highly skilled and motivated colleagues in an environment that requires continual education.

My philosophy of care:

The most important basis of the physician-patient relationship is trust. Patients need to understand that they will always have my best effort. They also need to know that I will deliver the good news and the bad news with compassion and honesty. I also owe it to my patients to stay up to date with techniques that offer them the best chance at recovery.
