Behavioral health clinician Marianne M. O’Hare, PhD, has provided individual and group counseling for more than 30 years. In addition to her position at Summit Medical Group, Dr. O’Hare is an adjunct associate professor for the Drew University Psychology Department.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. O’Hare was Director of the Drew University McClintock Center for Counseling and Psychological Services in Madison, New Jersey. She also has taught courses in wellness, stress, and psychology at Seton Hall University. Dr. O’Hare began her career first as a nurse for St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She then worked as an art therapist for Beth Israel Medical Center.
Dr. O’Hare is a member of the American Psychological Association, New Jersey Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, American Association of Suicidology, and American University and College Counseling Center Directors. She is listed in Who’s Who and Who’s Who in American Education.
An award-winning painter, Dr. O’Hare has exhibited her oils, watercolors, and acrylics. She also enjoys working in the fiber arts, most notably knitting, when she is not working with her patients.
