Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Sherman practiced internal medicine and nephrology with Calvert Internal Medicine, where she was Director of the Calvert Dialysis Center in Prince Frederick, Maryland. 

A member of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Consultant Medical Staff, Dr. Sherman has special interest in breast cancer survivorship. She is a recipient of the 1993 New York Society of Nephrology First Prize for original research.
