In addition to his position at Summit Medical Group, Neil B. Horner, MD, is Chief of Neuroradiology for the Atlantic Health System Atlantic Neuroscience Institute at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey. He is a radiologist in practice with Summit Radiological Associates, an attending physician at Overlook Medical Center, and Chief of Neuroradiology for the Overlook Medical Center Department of Radiology. Dr. Horner's expertise includes brain imaging, spine imaging, head and neck imaging, and cerebrovascular imaging.  

Dr. Horner is a faculty member at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, and he is a clinical associate for the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. He has been a faculty member at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and New York University School of Medicine. He has been Director and Codirector for Atlantic Institute neuroscience courses.

Dr. Horner is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. He has been a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey Council of Communications.

Dr. Horner is the author or coauthor of articles and abstracts on neuroscience, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals, including American Journal of Neuroradiology. He has been an editorial board member for the Journal of the Medical Society of New Jersey. Dr. Horner has delivered more than 50 local, regional, and national invited presentations in his field. Many of his presentations have been at major academic institutions and the Radiology Society of North America.

Dr. Horner is a recipient of the Overlook Medical Center Physician Excellence Award and Radiology Residents Teaching Award. In 2011, the American Cancer Society recognized him for his work in brain tumors. He is featured in the 2010, 2011, and 2012 New Jersey Monthly "Top Doctors," New York magazine "Best Doctors in the New York Metropolitan Area," and Castle Connolly "Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area" and "America's Top Doctors" listings.
