Before joining Summit Medical Group, Renée Schreiber Chervenak, MD, was Regional Medical Director for Alcatel-Lucent USA in Murray Hill, New Jersey. She was previously Regional Medical Director for Lucent Technologies, Inc, of North America, and Location Medical Director for AT&T Bell Laboratories, also in Murray Hill. Dr. Chervenak has extensive experience leading corporate health care systems in comprehensive medical services such as wellness, urgent care, primary care, occupational health, and health and safety programs. Her professional interests include preventive care and developing relationships between patients and physicians.

She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Preventive Medicine (with a specialty in occupational medicine). She is a former diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

A volunteer for the Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center and a volunteer certified therapeutic riding instructor at Therapeutic Riding at Centenary, Dr. Chervenak helps improve quality of life and build self-esteem in people with physical, developmental, emotional, and medical challenges.
