What is this medicine used for?

This medicine is a liquid that is put on the skin to treat warts.

What should my healthcare provider know before I take this medicine?

Before taking this medicine, tell your healthcare provider if you have ever had:

• an allergic reaction to any medicine
• diabetes
• problems with blood circulation

Females of childbearing age: Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant. This medicine has been reported to cause birth defects. Stop taking this medicine at the first sign that you may be pregnant and contact your healthcare provider right away. Do not breast-feed while taking this medicine.

How do I use it?

This medicine is applied only by a healthcare provider because it is a poison. It can cause serious side effects if not used properly. Wash off the medicine carefully as instructed by your healthcare provider. It should not be used on moles, birthmarks, or near the eyes.

What if I overdose?

An acute overdose of this medicine is not likely to cause life-threatening symptoms. If you think that you or anyone else may have taken too much of this medicine, call the poison control center at 800-222-1222.

What should I watch out for?

While some mild to moderate irritation is normal with the use of this medicine, report any severe irritation to your healthcare provider right away.

What are the possible side effects?

Along with its needed effects, your medicine may cause some unwanted side effects. Some side effects may be very serious. Some side effects may go away as your body adjusts to the medicine. Tell your healthcare provider if you have any side effects that continue or get worse.

Serious (report these to your healthcare provider right away): Unusual bruising or bleeding, stomach pain, severe skin irritation, severe diarrhea, hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that are not there), fast heartbeat, tingling and numbness, nausea, vomiting, unexplained sore throat and fever, muscle weakness.

Other: Mild rash, flaking, itching, burning, swelling, scabbing at the spot where the cream is applied.

No significant drug interactions have been reported for this medicine.
