Transportation Information

Summit Medical Group sponsors mid-day bus service between our facility in Berkeley Heights, (located at 1 Diamond Hill Road), and the Summit train station. Service will run hourly beginning at 12:12pm. that will supplement the rush-hour service provided by NJ Transit.

NJ Transit Bus Schedule (updated June 2008)

Route 986 connects the Summit and Plainfield train stations during rush-hour. This service stops on our new Berkeley Heights campus near the Lawrence Pavilion patient entrance.

The route provides service from approximately 6am. to 9am and 3pm to 7pm, each way. The one-way fare is $1.95 from either Summit or Plainfield. Ten-day, weekly and monthly trip tickets are available. If you purchase a monthly train ticket for at least $71, there is no additional charge for your bus connection to our campus. This service is available to patients and staff alike.
