Chandana Pande, MD is a member of Summit Medical Group's Internal Medicine team. Dr. Pande treats adult and geriatric patients using a holistic approach for both preventive care services and diagnosis and management of common and chronic illnesses. “I believe good health stems from balance between mind and body,” Dr. Pande states. She also has special interest in liver disease and other liver conditions, including nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), hepatitis B and C, autoimmune hepatitis, and primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).
Dr. Pande has presented on both the national and international level. She has received formal recognition for her major contributions to liver disease research and was selected for the Presidential Choice Poster in the poster presentation session at the Annual Conference of Asia-Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver held in Seoul, Korea. In addition, she has published nine original works and contributed to 26 abstracts.
Dr. Pande is passionate about people, family, and food. She finds bicycling, yoga, and cooking to be very therapeutic. She likes to read all types of books and watch a variety of movie genres. One day she hopes to explore all major cities via bicycle.
