John J. Vaccaro, MD, specializes in disorders of the brain, including stroke, headache, Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s dementia, and epilepsy. Dr. Vaccaro also has expertise in disorders of the peripheral nervous system, including neuromuscular disorders, peripheral neuropathy, and neck / low back pain. He specializes in electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction velocity (NCV) testing, and Botox.
In addition to his position at Summit Medical Group, Dr. Vaccaro is Chief of Neurology at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey. He has practiced with Neurological Consultants, PA, since 1997. Dr. Vaccaro is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, Neurological Association of New Jersey, and American Medical Association.
