Steven J. Porbunderwala, MD, specializes in colorectal and general surgery. Dr. Porbunderwala's expertise includes medical and surgical treatment of anorectal diseases, including anal fissures, fistulas, abscesses, hemorrhoids, and cancer. He also performs minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques, surgery of the appendix, gallbladder, hernias, lower gastrointestinal surgery for benign and malignant conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, and cancer of the colon and rectum. He also performs colonoscopy for screening, diagnosis, and therapeutic purposes.
