About Me
Daniel Hart, MD specializes in infectious diseases, with a particular interest in HIV, viral hepatitis, and immunocompromised patients with infections. In addition, Dr. Hart prepares patients for overseas travel by recommending appropriate vaccinations and prophylactic medications.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Hart was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he helped train the next generation of infectious disease physicians in his role as Director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program.
Dr. Hart is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. He has been featured in both Castle Connolly and Jersey Choice “Top Doctors” listings.
"Infections are common but are readily treatable in the vast majority of situations," says Dr. Hart. "My goal is to minimize their impact and return patients to their normal, healthy lifestyles as quickly as possible."
