About Me
Kara J. Goldman, MD, FACOG, specializes in obstetrics, gynecology, and women's health. Dr. Goldman has special interest in adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and family planning.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Goldman practiced privately in Wayne, New Jersey. She has been a staff physician at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.
Dr. Goldman says, "I chose obstetrics and gynecology because it combines specialties that interest me such as surgery, medicine, preventive care, and pathology. It also allows me to care for women in all stages of life."
Dr. Goldman is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the American Medical Association and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She is the coauthor of an article that is published in the prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journal Journal of Reproductive Medicine.
When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Goldman enjoys spending time with her family as well as spinning, yoga, reading.
