About Me
Kriya Patel, MD is a member of Summit Medical Group's Internal Medicine team. Dr. Patel treats patients for a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions and has special interest in preventative care. Additionally, she advocates for living a healthy lifestyle to prevent illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
Dr. Patel chose a career in primary care to help people through some of their most vulnerable times and to create a lifelong bond that would benefit the overall well-being of others. Her collaborative approach allows patients to be fully involved in their care decisions, which improves treatment compliance. She says, “As a caregiver, my job is to provide patients with the tools and information they need to achieve better health and improve their lifestyle.”
When not caring for patients, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her family; traveling, baking, and exercising.
