About Me
Margaret B. Row, MD, MBA, FACP, serves as Clinical Chief of Oncology at Summit Medical Group (SMG), where she focuses on building and supporting our highly accomplished clinical team and strong infrastructure. Additionally, she is an acting clinician on SMG’s Oncology/Hematology team. She specializes in supportive oncology and is board certified in internal medicine. Her expertise includes supportive care of the oncology patient and oncology emergency care.
Dr. Row has an impressive health care background. Prior to joining SMG, she served as medical director of a large emergency center and later as Vice President of Clinical Operations for a prestigious cancer network, where she worked closely with physicians and business development colleagues to develop and implement multidisciplinary oncology programs at eight domestic partner locations and five international sites.
Dr. Row received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 25 years.
"I believe in getting to know my patients and their families and engaging the patient in every aspect of his/her care. By working as a team with the oncologists, we are able to make sure that the patients’ values guide decisions,” she says.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Row enjoys playing golf, skiing, running, being outdoors, traveling and spending time with her family.
