About Me
Marie Nevin, MD, FACE is a member of Summit Medical Group’s endocrinology team and currently serves as Chair, Department of Endocrinology and Nutrition at the group.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Nevin was a senior partner with Endocrine Medical Associates in Morristown, New Jersey And served as former Chief for the Division of Endocrinology at Morristown Medical Center. She also held the title of Medical Director at Morristown Medical Center’s Adult Diabetes Center.
"Endocrinology gives me the opportunity to analyze complex facts and arrive at a diagnosis,” says Dr. Nevin. “My work is interesting and challenging every day, and it's especially gratifying to help my patients improve and maintain their health."
Dr. Nevin is a fellow and diplomate of the American College of Endocrinology, a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and a member of New Jersey Monthly’s "Top Doctor" Advisory Board. Additionally, she is an endocrine consultant for the Foundation for African Medicine and Education (FAME).
For multiple years, New Jersey Monthly and Castle Connolly have featured Dr. Nevin in "Top Doctor" listings. Her Castle Connolly "Top Doctor" listings are reprinted in U.S. News and World Report and Inside Jersey. To her credit, Dr. Nevin's physician colleagues voted her the 2008 New Jersey Monthly Number 1 Endocrinologist in New Jersey.
When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Nevin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and traveling.
