About Me
Marla Hidalgo, DO is a member of Summit Medical Group's Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy team. Dr. Hidalgo uses a holistic approach to treat adult patients who are experiencing a variety of mental illness issues, including depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Dr. Hidalgo wants her patients to feel heard. But most importantly, she wants them to gain a thorough understanding of what is occurring from a psychiatric perspective. She is passionate about patient education, particularly regarding the stigma that is attached to mental illness. She says, “As a behavioral health specialist, I have gained great appreciation for the unique circumstances that surround each patient’s condition.” She adds, “Forming relationships with my patients and witnessing their progress throughout their treatment is incredibly meaningful to me.”
