Diabetes can be an overwhelming disease because it impacts so many parts of daily life. It's important to have support from family, friends and others who are managing diabetes in their lives as well.
At our Diabetes Management Support Group, you will develop a better understanding of the disease, surrounded by others who are experiencing similar issues -- all in a friendly, comfortable environment.
During our sessions, we will share information about current diabetes management, keeping blood sugar levels under control, diet and weight loss, and struggles with managing a chronic disease. We will utilize Conversations Maps, a patient-centered, diabetes education tool centered around interaction and collaboration.
Join us to learn how to manage diabetes in your life and take steps toward positive lifestyle changes. Space is limited. To register, call 908-219-6083
