Breast Nurse Navigators Offer Guidance When You Most Need It

If you have an abnormal breast diagnosis, you are likely to experience many emotions, including feeling worried and sad. You also might feel overwhelmed about the steps you must take to make progress through your diagnosis and treatment.

Our breast nurse navigators
can help guide and support you every step of the way
through your mammogram and follow-up visits.

Our certified breast nurse navigators have extensive experience addressing physical and emotional needs if your breast diagnosis requires additional testing, biopsy, breast surgery, and follow-up treatment. They can help you understand your condition / disease, explain your doctor’s recommendations, clarify medical information and terms, and offer information about helpful resources. They also can give you literature about breast health, chemotherapy side effects and management, lymphedema therapy, and healthy dietary and lifestyle habits such as exercise programs. Our nurse navigators can answer questions about risk for breast cancer, including how and if family history influences it. Most of all, our nurse navigators can tell you what you can expect if you get an abnormal diagnosis.

Our Breast Care Center offers comprehensive support and care of benign conditions and all stages of breast cancer. In addition to expert diagnosis and treatment, we empower you with education so that you can partner with your physicians to make informed decisions. Our personalized treatment plans help ensure the best possible outcomes while we assist you in adjusting to, coping with, and managing disease.
