Last updated: Mar 12, 2018

Winter Weather Advisory

Please be advised that a relatively minor winter storm is expected to impact the
New Jersey area between Monday night, 3/12 and Tuesday morning, 3/13.
All Summit Medical Group locations will open at normal time.

Tips to Avoid Trips, Slips and Falls in Winter Weather

Look Before You Step - The best way to keep from falling is to watch where you are stepping. If that wet patch up ahead looks like it might be ice, avoid it. It’s also important to look ahead at what you might be walking into.

Wear the Right Shoes - Even if you are required to wear dress shoes to work, high heels and ice don’t mix. Wear boots with rough or textured soles to trek through the snow and ice.

Watch the Floors - Even after you have made it inside, watch out for places that other people have walked. Snow and ice from other people’s shoes will most likely have melted into lovely, brown messes on the floor. Mix that in with tile or linoleum, and you have a recipe for disaster.

Focus, Focus, Focus - Pay attention to surroundings and watch out for black, or invisible, ice. Also exercise caution when exiting cars.  Slow down and stop frequently to check the ground around you.

Up to date information on operations will continue to be posted here
and on all Summit Medical Group social media outlets.
