Stop Smoking Now Program

D

DiDonato, Katherine, PhD, ACT Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy Center 654 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights

Quitting smoking is the single most important step a smoker can take to improve the length and quality of his or her life. Stopping smoking can be tough but smokers don’t have to quit alone.

The Stop Smoking Now program has been proven effective by the American Lung Association. Affordable and effective, our program offers strategies that can help you manage and overcome the physiological, psychological, and behavioral aspects of smoking cessation.

The program teaches the skills and techniques that have been shown through evidence-based research to help smokers quit.

  • Meet in a supportive group with others quitting smoking
  • Learn strategies for coping with the difficult first days of quitting
  • Understand the environmental cues and emotional triggers to smoking
  • Develop new and positive skills and behaviors to keep you motivated

The Stop Smoking Now Program is held at our
1 Diamond Hill Road campus in Berkeley Heights.

Although the program does not provide smoking cessation medications,
we can refer you to physicians who can prescribe
the medications you need to become smoke free.

The Walgreens pharmacy located at our Berkeley Heights Campus
will offer discounts on smoking cessation aids
such as gums, patches, and medications.
