INJURED IN YOUR SPORT, GAME OR PRACTICE?
GET IMMEDIATE CARE AND GET BACK IN THE GAME

Walk-Ins welcome - NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED
Guaranteed to see an orthopedic or sports medicine specialist

Sports-related injuries are always unexpected.  The only option for these injuries used to be the Emergency Room . . . and hours of waiting.  Summit Medical Group’s Orthopedics and Sports Medicine offers Walk-In Injury Hours dedicated to quickly diagnosing and treating orthopedic emergencies:

  • Fractures
  • Tears of muscles and ligaments
  • Bruising of Bones
  • Sprains

Why Summit Medical Group?

Most orthopedic injuries, while painful, are given low priority as compared to conditions that are deemed more serious and life-threatening at the ER.  With our Walk-in Injury Hours, you are put directly into the hands of the experts you need to assess and evaluate your sports-related injury.

At our Florham Park location, SMG’s on-site diagnostic technology includes the new GE Optima MR430 Extremity MRI.  This breakthrough system is designed exclusively for extremity imaging.  Patients are able to sit comfortably in a chair for the scan instead of possibly aggravating their injury by squeezing into a conventional MRI tube.  The Extremity MRI targets only the specific body part that needs to be scanned and delivering the clearest images available.

Most major insurance plans accepted.
